Come, Lord Jesus!

COME, LORD JESUS! is a program dedicated to forming small Catholic faith communities that foster deep spiritual growth. Following a balanced, well-structured format inspired by the recommendations of the Second Vatican Council, the program centers on four essential elements of early Church life (Acts 2:42): Prayer, Scripture, Eucharist, and Fellowship/Christian Community. Guided by the Holy Spirit, its mission is to help members be transformed into the very image of Christ, who is Love.

The simple, proven format allows for easy participation by the laity. Each meeting’s Scripture study is based on the readings for the upcoming Sunday Mass, greatly enhancing appreciation for the Word of God and enriching the celebration of the Eucharist.

Founded in 1969 by Rev. Fr. Conley Bertrand of the Diocese of Lafayette, LA, COME, LORD JESUS! has grown steadily, receiving enthusiastic endorsements from priests and bishops, as well as a special blessing from Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
