The Meal Ministry is a heartfelt way we support one another during life’s challenging and joyful seasons—whether recovering from surgery, welcoming a new baby, mourning a loss, or navigating illness or transition.
How It Works:
Our goal is to provide nourishing meals to individuals and families in need. Meals are typically delivered every other day over a three-week period, though the duration may be adjusted depending on the specific situation.
Coordination begins by email, and MealTrain.com is used to organize volunteer sign-ups. When a need arises, ministry coordinators send out an email with a link to the online schedule and any important details, such as food preferences or dietary restrictions.
Volunteers can then choose a date and prepare either a home-cooked or store-bought meal for delivery.
